FAQ

Same team in the kitchen and on the app — including the odd “can I swap the topping?” question. These answers are written for the website: plain language, no corporate fog.

  • How do I place an order?

    On this website, browse the Menu, open a product, and add it to your basket. When you’re signed in, your basket is saved to your account. Use Checkout to pay by card for collection or delivery (saved addresses and promos work on the web too). The Sweet Dezire app remains the place to add or edit delivery addresses and your profile phone number.

  • Can I order for delivery and collection?

    On the website, checkout supports collection or delivery pay-by-card (Apple Pay can appear in Safari after Stripe domain verification). Enter a promo code and apply a wallet loyalty reward on the checkout page. Saved delivery addresses are chosen on the web, but you add or change them in the app (Settings → Delivery addresses). The same Supabase account and basket sync apply when you’re signed in.

  • What are your opening hours?

    If we’re not accepting orders right now, you’ll see a banner at the top of the site. Opening times follow the shop settings we use in the app as well.

  • How do I pay?

    We accept card payments through Stripe on the web and in the app (Apple Pay can appear in Safari on the website after Stripe domain verification). We do not store your full card number on our servers. You can manage saved cards from your Account page (Stripe billing portal).

  • How can I track my order?

    After you place an order, check Account → Orders on this site, or the Home / Orders area in the app for status updates (for example confirmed, preparing, ready, out for delivery, or collected). Push notifications in the app are optional in Settings.

  • How does the loyalty stamp card work?

    You earn stamps on qualifying orders. After 5 stamps you can redeem a free dessert reward; after 10 stamps you can redeem 10% off your order. Redeem in the app to add a voucher to your wallet, then on the website or in the app turn on “Use my wallet reward” at checkout before you pay.

  • Do loyalty rewards expire?

    Yes. Rewards you redeem to your wallet are valid for 90 days from the date they are issued unless stated otherwise in the app.

  • How do I use a promo code?

    On the website checkout page, enter your code and tap Apply. In the app basket, use the promo field the same way. Codes must still meet any minimum spend or other rules stored with the promotion.

  • Can I customise items on the website?

    Many menu items list add-ons and options (for example flavours, toppings, or sauces) on the product page. Choose what you want, then add the item to your basket. If you need something that is not listed, contact us and we will see how we can help.

  • How do I add or change a delivery address?

    In the app, go to Settings → Delivery addresses. You can save multiple addresses, search with Google address lookup, and set a default for faster checkout.

  • How do I update my profile or photo?

    Profile photo and mobile number are managed in the mobile app today. On the web you can sign in, reset your password, manage cards via Account, and see your recent orders.

  • How do I turn notifications on or off?

    In the app under Settings → Preferences you can enable push notifications for order updates and opt in or out of email updates. Your device must allow notifications for the app in system settings.

  • Can I cancel or change an order?

    If you need to change or cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Once preparation has started we may not be able to change your order. Include your order reference if you have one.

  • Something went wrong with my order — what should I do?

    Contact us with your order details and we will help. Email enquiries@sweetdezire.co.uk and include your name, order reference, and a short description of the issue.

  • How do I delete my account?

    In the mobile app Settings, use Delete account to start the account deletion process. You can cancel from the prompt if you change your mind before it completes.
